Take Your Time To Do NOTHING

måndag 29 augusti 2011

Hello again!
I made a card, and I had the challenge at Less is More in mind when I did it.
I wanted to make a simple but not elegant card, so I did.
It was a matter of course to make a card which included three of the previous challenges,
and here I sit now with a card that barely fits in any of them:)

I hope it can be week 18 - Monochrome, week 25 - Button or Ribbon (but it´s not a ribbon, it´s a twine), maybe week 10 - sentiment only (but there are flowers too), or maybe it´s more like week 2 - Flower or Tree....not good.
Anyway, I think the card is equally suited for both a man and a woman, and that's good.

I must say I like this shabby edges of the natural paper that I used.
Nothing more to say about this I think.
Hope you like my card and come back soon!
Hugs, Birgit

Blue and Yellow - Swedish National Colors

fredag 12 augusti 2011

Hello, everyone!
Youst a quick post for Less is More.

I've been thinking all week about what I could do for this week's challenge, but it has been difficult and no good ideas have come up.
Finally I found two papers that had the right colors and right motives.
There will be ocean blue and sunshine yellow.
The sunflower may symbolize the sun and I placed it as a sun over the water.
Besides, I have been using pieces of paper that I stitched down with the sewing machine, and the sunflower had a little extra sparkle.
Thats all from me today.
Wish you all a nice weekend!
Hugs, Birgit
