Happiest Of Holidays

tisdag 13 november 2018

Hello there!
I´m back again with a new Christmas card to share. For today´s card I used a digi image that I colored up with my Copic pens.
To make a living scene I stamped trees in the background using a Reprint stamp, I also added Star Dust Stickles and Glossy Accents. The white heat embossed sentiment is from MFT´s Santa´s Elves stamp set and the Merry Christmas is from Tim Holtz Mini Holidays 3 stamp set. A few clear bling stones finish of this project.
I hope you have a wonderful week,  thanks for stopping by!

From All Of Us To All Of You - A Very Merry Christmas

fredag 9 november 2018

Hello there!
I hope you all have a great Friday with the weekend ahead. My card for today is created for Muse:ChristmasVisions where Becca is our Guest Muse, here is my take...
...on her card.

For the bird, I used one embossing folder from Sizzix Birds & Reindeer Set and cut the bird out by hand after embossing. Then I added Star Dust Stickles and a layer Glossy Accents to get the right shimmer. For the back of the bird I added a Die-namics Fancy Flourish swirl die-cut that I first sponged with blue Distress inks. The Rox Stamps sentiment was heat embossed in silver, I adhered glitter paper and a blingstone strip underneath...old patterned paper from my way to big stash for the background and...I think that´s about it.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Warm Winter Greetings

tisdag 6 november 2018

Hi everyone!
Because Christmas is now well under way I thought I would make a Christmas card of my old designer papers from my stash...and I found this lovely PION design papers.
I have also used Memory Box Truly Gifted dies to create the bow, the Berry Sprig die from Poppy Stamps and a mistletoe die from Xcut. A couple of retired sentiment stamps was used as well as some Distress inks. To finish the card I added Star Dust Stickles around the image and Christmas Red to the mistletoe.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Bad Ideas Make The Best Merories

onsdag 31 oktober 2018

Hello there friends!
Just dropping in to share a male inspired greeting card. I used a Katzelkraft stamp and used colors in brown, black and gold.
I colored up the image with my Copics, added some Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents to the eyes and nose. I used the Plaid Layering Stencil from Tim Holtz and Distress Inks on watercolor paper to create the background. Next, to create some sort of frame I used parts of the MFT Die-namics Blueprint die set and sponged the edges with Distress ink. To finish of, I added a few gold sequins and a bit of twine.
Whishing everyone a happy day!
Hugs, Birgit

Merry Christmas

lördag 27 oktober 2018

Hi there!
Today I´m sharing a project where I have used the awesome Peeker Snowmen die set from Cottage Cutz.
For the background I used the Sizzix Birds & Reindeer embossing folder set, the Tim Holtz Alterations Window & Window Box die and an old designer paper image that I attatched at the back of the window. I also used Tims Holiday Greens die set and one CraftEmotions die for the bow. All coloring was done with Distress inks that was sponged upon the die cuts, except for the Bildmålarna sentiment that was colored with Copic pens and I also added some Diamond Stickles.
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great weekend!

Season´s Greetings

onsdag 24 oktober 2018

Hello there crafters!
Today I´m here with another Christmas card, this time in a vintage style, that I love!
First I created the background using Distress inks and a couple of stencils, the Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi´s Dots & Stripes Borders and for the stars a CraftEmotions stencil. First I added embossing paste over the star stencil, then sprinkled over Stampendous Aged Gold embossing pouder and heated in. I cut out hearts in different sizes from both an old Crafty Individuals Angel paper and white CS that I then decorated with distress inks and Aged Gold embossing pouder. For the sentiment I used Tim Holtz Winter die set. I also adhered some of Tim´s Holiday Greens die cuts, white feathers, bling stones and a little paper bow.
This card was fun to make, I hope you like it too.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hugs, Birgit

Hello there!
Today I have another Christmas card for Muse:ChristmasVisions, even if I first thought... oh no, not yet a Muse card with three trees in a row, only a few weeks ago there was such one. Made that, been there, and I thought to skip this challenge but then it became one anyway...don´t really know how it happened:)

For todays card, I have used the Frosted Christmas Trio die from Memory Box and heat embossed it with Stampendous Aged Silver embossing pouder, love that Fran-tage pouder! I backed it with black foam to give it dimension. The sentiment is created with Lawn Fawn Winter Big Scripty Words stamp set and cut with the coordinated die, and it´s also gold heat embossed. I thought the firs needed a background, so I took out a CraftEmotions stars stencil and sponged it with Iced Spruce Distress ink. I finished of by adding a few gold sequins.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hugs, Birgit
