A Merry Christmas!

fredag 15 februari 2019

Hello there friends!
My project for today is a Christmas card, I feel it´s important to keep going all year round...and this is a sweet thing. I´m playing along with a few blog challenges.
I stamped the Magnolia stamp and colored with my Copics, then I added Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents to the bow, then I cut it out by hand. I used Evergreen Bough Distress ink for the background, I sponged over the paper and then heated in Stampendous Shabby White embossing pouder. The sentiment from Tim Holtz Christmastime stamp set was cut out and adhered with foam tape to the background for dimension. I created a frame using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello friends!
I hope you´ve had a good week so far. Today I have a Birthday card to share with you created using the gorgeous Dee´s Distinctively Secret Garden dies. All coloring are made with Distress ink watercolors.
For the background I stamped some old Viva Decor flowers and clear heat embossed them, then I colored with blue watercolor. I cut out the Mama Elephant numbers, sponged them with Distress inks and added a layer Glossy Accents to them as well as the flowers. The butterfly was cut with one CraftEmotions die and after coloring I added Star Dust Stickles. I also used the Fresh Foliage die from Memory Box and the sentiment die from Gummiapan. To finish of, I added a few blue pearls.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments!

It Is Not Always I Am Right, But I've Never Wrong

söndag 10 februari 2019

Happy Sunday!
I am popping in with a slightly different but fun Valentine's Day card, once again I have used Katzelcraft´s Les Rats des villes stamp set. I think I'll give it to my husband, ha, ha :)
I colored the little rat just slightly with my Copic pens and then die-cut using Die-namics Inside/Out Stitch Oval. I created the lover part of the card using an old Reprint text stamp, a part of a stencil with a heart that was sponged in red/pink Distress inks. I cut out some hearts from red glitter paper and arranged them over the rat. And that´s about it, I think.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello there crafters!
Today I have one more wintry/Christmas card to show you, I´m playing along with a some blog challenges listed below.
I wanted to try Crafters Companion's Winter Night stamp set that I could lay my hands on at Christmas. I started of by stamping in Iced Spruce Distress ink and then I clear heat embossed the image, I colored up the rest with watercolors. Next, I added Snow Writer to the trees and sprinkled over loose glitter before it had dried (so sorry that the glitter can not be seen). I made a frame using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies. I also cut the Memory Box Traditional Stars out of gold glitter paper and adhered it with foam tape as well as the frame for some dimension. And that´s about it, I think.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas Greetings

onsdag 23 januari 2019

Hello there!
I hope your week is going well. Myself, I have not really given up the Christmas card making, maybe it's good to do some while the feeling is still there. In addition, I found this new wonderful moose on sale after Christmas.
I started out by creating the background using watercolors, stamping the trees with an old tree stamp and Forest Moss Distress ink. I splattered on some white ink to make it snow. Next, I cut the Tim Holtz Merry Moose out of white cardstock (except the band around the moose neck that was cut out of red CS) and then sponged the pieces with different Distress inks. I also added some Stickles in Platinum and Star Dust. I used some white paper to cut out snow and stamped the Vilda Stamps sentiment before I adhered it with foam tape. A few finishing touches with Snow Writer on the ground, on the moose horns and its back.
Thanks for stopping by/reading!

Tomorrow or no later than next week, then dash it!

lördag 19 januari 2019

Hello there!
I don´t know if I have translated the sentiment right, dash it - that you mean seriousness, to grab things? I hope you understand anyway, maybe you have promised something for the new year.
I have used one rat from Katzelkraft´s rats "Les rats des villes" stamp set, I love them all! As well as the InkyWings sentiment from a stamp set called Snorkigt#2. I colored the rat with my Copic pens and cut out by hand. For the sentiment, I used a Joy Crafts Labels & Tags die to cut it out. The embossed background was created with a Docrafts  embosssing folder. And to follow up the dots, I used a Wendy Vecchi "Polka Dotty" stencil and Bundle Sage Distress ink. I created a frame using Die-namics Inside/Out Stitch Oval dies. I finished of by adding a CraftEmotions die-cut bow.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit
