Merry Christmas

fredag 21 december 2018

Hello there crafters!
Here is the last Christmas card I sent out to family this year. And with this one, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
I used Penny Black´s Poinsettia Wreath stamp on watercolor paper, together with Distress Markers and inks. The bow was cut with one CraftEmotions die and then sponged with Distress inks, I also splattered white ink over. The sentiment die is from Rox Stamps and was cut out of both gold glitter paper and black foam, then mounted together to give dimension. I also stamped some branches in the corners.
Thanks for stopping by this busy time of year!
Hugs, Birgit

Merry And Bright

tisdag 18 december 2018

Hello there!
This is a busy time of year for sending cards to friends and family and I have a couple more to show you even if they are already on their way.
Here I have used the Crafter´s Companion Christmas Cheer stamp set to create this card. I colored up the reindeer with my Copics and placed a stencil from Memory Box called Winter Flurry Frame over it and sponged the edges with Iced Spruce Distress ink. I also added Star Dust and Platinum Stickles, Glossy Accents and a few clear bling stones. I felt something was missing, so I found some Christmassy berries to decorate with in my stash.
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Birgit

Warm Christmas Hugs

lördag 15 december 2018

Hi everyone!
We are closing in on the big day, so it´s time to hurry up with the Christmas card production. I was in the mood for a wintry snowman card...
...so I grabbed the Tim Holtz Snowman Scene die set, some Distress inks and got started. I mounted the snowman with foam tape to give him dimension. I used Black Magic Core´dinations cardstock for the background, crumplet it up and then sanded. I stamped with some old spruce stamps before I die cut the next piece. I added a snowpack of white glitter paper, some Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents too. The Kristina Scrapbooking sentiment was white heat embossed. I also splattered white ink over to create snowfall.
As always thanks so much for stopping!
Hugs, Birgit

Season´s Greatings

onsdag 12 december 2018

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to catch up with a quick blog post today with a Christmas card that I want to share with you.
My card for today were created with Lawn Fawn Home For Christmas stamp set and dies, I colored up with my Copic pens. Next, I created a background using blue Distress inks and I also splattered white ink over it to make stars or snow. I die cut the city silhouette using a Marianne Design die, and at its lower edge I added a layer 3D snow and sprinkled over glitter before it dried. I popped up the car and the white heat embossed sentiment with foam tape over the snow. To make it glitter even more, I added Star Dust Stickles to the falling star, Platinum Stickles in some windows and Glossy Accents too.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit

Out In The Snow

söndag 9 december 2018

Hello there crafters!
Today I´m sharing a Christmas card created with the Toby Tumble & Ribins stamp set from Cuddly Buddly. To color the image, I used Distress inks on watercolor paper.
I also used Star Dust Stickles and some white ink to spatter over the image. I cut out a branch with a Tim Holtz Holiday Greens die and sponged it with green Distress inks. Next, I stamped the mittens from My Favourite Things Winter Warmth stamp set and cut out with the matching dies, then I hung them up on the branch. I added the image over a piece of old designer paper and white sparkle card base, I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
I think that´s about it. Thanks so much for stopping by this busy time of the year!

Merry Christmas, This Year Again ...

torsdag 6 december 2018

Hello friends!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I have a card to share with you where I have used Spellbinders Poinsettia stamp and Distress inks. I did the main stamping with Iced Spruce, and then I filled in red and green with a brush.
I cut a panel in the middle and raised it with foam tape to give dimension. For the Merry Christmas I used a Mandys die and the old Inkido sentiment was white heat embossed. I finished of by adding a few dark red pearls.
I hope you all enjoy this time before Christmas!
Hugs, Birgit

With The Wish Of A Merry Christmas

lördag 1 december 2018

Hello there!
Of course I have another Christmas card to share today! This time I picked up the Peeker Snowmen die from Cottage Cutz for the second time this fall / winter, I think they are so cute that they can join one more card.
This time I colored them up with my Copic pens and I also added some Glossy Accents. I created a background using Distress inks on watercolor paper together with a Snowfall stencil from My Favourite Things. I covered it with embossing paste and loose glitter, which I then heated in. I stamped the sentiment from Scrapfabriken on vellum and black heat embossed that too. To create the frame, I used a couple of Lawn Fawn dies. To finish of, I die-cut Tim Holtz Holiday Greens, sponged them with Distress inks and added them together with a few red pearls.
Wishing everyone a good start of December!
Hugs, Birgit
