New Home

tisdag 30 april 2019

Hello friends!
Today I have made a slightly different shaped card for a couple who recently moved into their new house, I wish them all the best with their new home!
I have used three dies - Lawn Fawn Grassy Border, Memory Box Rounded Fence and Manor House, where I only used the windows and the door. I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the edge of the roof. The flowers on the door are of lace that I painted with my Copic pens.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Easter

onsdag 27 mars 2019

Hello there!
My card today is inspired by the Acetate Tent Card tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers, I just had to make one myself. I have to say it was very fun and not as difficult as it may look!
I used some Tim Holtz Alterations dies, Mini Bunny & Bow Set, Plaque & Postage and Window & Window Box. The sentiment stamp is from Reprint. For the background, I used old designer paper from my stash, I also cut some eggs out by hand and adhered to the front.
Thanks for stopping by today!

...small creatures living in your closet and sew your clothes in a little more each night.
Hello there crafters!
Today's card has a humorous twist in addition to a different folding, and it is meant to be a birthday card.
I just love the `Les rats des villes´ stamp set from Katzelkraft, they have such wonderful facial expressions! Here I colored one of them up with my Copics and cut it out by hand before I adhered the mouse with foam tape for dimension. I also used STAMPlorations `Party Mates´ stamp set to the bakery, a CraftEmotions die for the bow, a Gummiapan die for the Congratulations on the left side and the text stamp is from K-designs. To create a background I added some blue  splatters on watercolor paper and let dry. The sentiment to the right is from Reprint. I finished my card by adding a ribbon and some Glossy Accents.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Special Friends Mean So Much

söndag 19 augusti 2018

Hello and happy weekend!
With a blink of an eye, it´s already time for school start...how can this bee? The summer has gone so fast. Anyway, today I have a Center Step Card to share with you.

I have used Tim Holtz "Crazy Dogs" stamp set together with the coordinating dies, and the coloring is made with my Copics. I also added some glitter Stickles and Glossy Accents. The stamped sentiment is from Penny Black´s "mimi´s love" stamp set. There is not much more to say about this, old leftover paper, grass made with a die sponged with green distress ink and a pair of enamel dots to finish with.
Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a great weekend!

Kite Card

söndag 17 juni 2018

Happy Sunday everyone!
Now the schools have finished for the summer and there have been some bussy days here with me. Now that I've got time to be in my craft room, I've tried me on a kite card, you have the tutorial HERE
I chose to use some of my leftover papers from Maja Design.
I used a flower laser cut board from Tando Creative that I colored up with my Copics,  then I also added some Glossy Accents and Diamond Stickles.
To the inside I used a Birthday stamp from Rox Stamps. It feels very summery with a kite card or what do you say:)
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

tisdag 7 november 2017

Hello there crafters!
For today, I have a card with a different folding to show. Sometimes it's fun to try something new and when I saw this Panel Pull-Out card at Splicoaststampers I wanted to try it out immediately.
It was a bit difficult to take photos so the folding can be seen well, please follow the link above for more details if you want to try it out too. I´ve used old Authentique papers from the Remembrance Collection and the Coffee on the Go die from Memory Box. The Kristinas Scrapbooking sentiment was stamped in Coffee Archival Ink from Ranger. For the beans I used a part of an old stamp which I unfortunately do not know where it comes from anymore. Okay, that´s it I think.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Rectangle Pull Card

torsdag 1 juni 2017

Hello there crafters!
I´m dropping in to share a rectangle pull card that I´ve created in a romantic vintage style, I like these gray and pink shades.
For the card base I used Elizabeth Crafts Pop It Ups dies. And the image with the lady is from Reprint and the patterned paper "Chandelier" is from Fabscraps. I made a little tag using small Magnolia Doohickeys "Tea Label Tags" and a sentiment stamp from MFT "Sow Much Cutiness" stamp set that I white heat embossed on black cardstock. I added a paper ribbon bow with a brad and adhered it with foam tape. Inside, I also added a rose that I cut out from the patterned paper.
Okay, that´s all from me today. Hope you all have a nice Thursday.

Christmas Rectangle Pull Card

lördag 5 november 2016

Hello friends!
I'm trying to catch up to post here on my blog, but I fail all the time because a lot of things get in the way. This card has been on my desk for two weeks now and finally you will see it now.
I have created the card base by using a Elizabeth Craft Designs Rectangle Pull Card die together with papers from Panduro. Then I started to color the cute stamps from the My Favourite Things Merry Everything set with Copic Markers. I then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I also added some Glossy Accents and Star Dust Stickles. For the sentiment in the lower left corner, I used a Mandy´s die.
Another card for Christmas is ready and this time with a slightly different design, fun!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday!

Enjoy Life's Moments!

söndag 24 januari 2016

Hello friends!
How are you today? I have dreamed of making a folded "pop it up" card in a clean and simple style for some time, now I wanted to try it out...but it's hard to get it good ...

This is how it turned out. For this card I used a Rectangle Pull Card die from Elizabeth craft designs for the card base. A couple of dies from Memory Box was also used, Cherish Border and Prim Poppy for the flower. I colored upp the image from Penny Blacks Mimi´s love stamp set with my Copics and added some Glossy Accent to the umbrella and the hearts. The sentiment is from Rox Stamps.
Thank you so much for your visit today!

I Wish You Love

fredag 4 september 2015

Welcome back crafty friends!
Today´s share is a christening card made with the Rectangle Pull Card die from Elisabeth craft designs.

To create this card, I first embossed the cardstock with a Cuttelbug embossing folder. Next I used the Baby Boy paper from You Do and cut out some details that I wanted to use. And for some fun, I made a window where the baby can peek out.

I also used the Baby Script die from Memory Box, and the Soft Caress die from Penny Black to create the lovely heartflower. I finished of with a few gold sequins.

I apologize for the translation but I hope you understand the lovely poem Carin Hertzberg has written.

"We wish you no gold, my child
nor money and power.
We wish you the courage to be yourself
and stand up for what you have said.
We wish you not a stone-free road,
but the power to walk the road.
We wish you love in abundance
and friends to trust on."

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

A Birthday Card

måndag 24 augusti 2015

Hi everyone!
I'm back with another Flap Fold Card, I thought it was so fun and easy. This time I have used a patterned cardstock in beautiful pale green, even if it doesn´t show on the photo, unfortunately it looks just gray.

I found the floral paper among my leftover pieces and there was even enough to create the flower on top. The little monkey with the flower is from Mama Elephant the Up And Away set, and I colored it with my Copics.

The decorative edge was made with a Artemio punch. Okay, I think that´s all that need be said about this project.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
Hugs, Birgit

Summer Flowers

lördag 8 augusti 2015

Hi there crafters!
I thought it was time to make a card with some exciting folds, it feels like it was a while since I did such thing. I found this Flap Fold Card over at Splitcoaststampers and here I show you my creation with this technique.

I used a Bloom Silhouettes Stencil from Stamplorations and Distress inks to create the flower image. The lovely sentiment "...take the time to do nothing" is from Rox stamps. I created the decorative edge with a Artemio punch.

I stamped and colored the flower on top from Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals and die-cut it with the matching die. Then I added it on another die cut made with a Shapeabilities Florals Doily Motifs die.
Have a great August and I hope the sun is shining wherever you are!
Hugs, Birgit

Hello and thanks for dropping by!
I´m just sharing one more card I have made for my grandson to his christening...he fills my heart with love.

I used papers from Authentique, the Renew Collection, which I think fits great for a little guy. The big heart was made with dies from Spellbinders, and for the white one under the sentiment I used the Soft Caress die from Penny Black.

I don´t think I need to say more about this card, I show the inside...

Egg-stra Easter Card

torsdag 2 april 2015

Hello there!
I hope you have a warm spring weather where you are....it's not here with me where I live, it is quite cold and it even snowed / rained a little today. This will be my last Easter card this year and I wanted to make it egg-shaped, so it is oval.

I used my Copics to color the image, then I cut it out and mounted it with 3 D foam.

I made a background using dotted washi tape and a die cut square frame made with a Spellbinder die. The sentiment on the little tag is from Panduro and I also added a few more Easter-inspired items from my stash. That´s it. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Easter to you all!

Vintage Easter Card

måndag 30 mars 2015

A warm welcome again friends!
This is my second post for today and now I want to show an Easter card of course:)

I was inspired to create a rectangle pull card by using a die from Elisabeth crafts Designs but without using the pop it up details.

I used the beautiful vintage PION design papers from last years collection "A Day in May" for my card.  Then I inked up a couple of stamps which I complemented with.

A sentiment and a pair of small bunnies was cut out with a Rox Stamps die and then added with the other embellishments.
Thanks again for stopping by (if you have seen my first post today)! I hope you enjoyed my project.
Hugs, Birgit
