Stay Cool

tisdag 28 maj 2019

Hello there crafters!
Today I´m sharing a card created with the Eraser Technique which is the challenge over at Christmas Card Throwdown, since I never heard of it or tried it, I wanted to give it a try.
I tore a few strips of paper and sponged them with graphite to create the snow, it has a little poor visibility on the photo but I hope you see it, I also used the "Snowball" stencil from My Favourite Things. I fixed with hair spray. But after I stamped and blurred the snowman from MFT´s "Frosty Friends" stamp set, I felt that I wanted to give it a little more body so I filled it with both Glossy Accents and sprinkled over loose glitter. All other coloring is made with my Copic pens. I created a frame using Lawn Fawn "Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle" dies, I added snowflakes to it using the Hot Of The Press "Snowfall" stencil and heated in white embossing pouder. I have also used Lawn Fawn "Winter Big Scripty Words" stamp set together with the coordinated die and one Rox Stamps die.
Ok, that´s all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello there!
Dropping in to share a Christmmas card today. I have used a Mini Deco Doily stencil from Crafters Workshop and some dies. I´m playing along with Creative Knockouts Doily Delight challenge...and some more challenges listed below.
After sponging the stencil with Distress inks , I heat embossed the edges with Stampendous Fran-tage Aged Hunter pouder. Next, I die cut the wreath out of both  white and gold glitter CS using Tutti Designs Leafy Wreath die. I adhered the wreath with foam tape to pop up over a strip of vellum. The Marianne Design sentiment was white heat embossed and then cut with the coordinated die. The Gummiapan reindeer head was first cut and sponged with Distress inks, then backed with black foam for dimension. I also cut out the bow using one Craft Emotions die and finished the card by adding a jingle bell.
As always thanks so much for stopping by. I wish you all a nice weekend!

Christmas Greetings

onsdag 23 januari 2019

Hello there!
I hope your week is going well. Myself, I have not really given up the Christmas card making, maybe it's good to do some while the feeling is still there. In addition, I found this new wonderful moose on sale after Christmas.
I started out by creating the background using watercolors, stamping the trees with an old tree stamp and Forest Moss Distress ink. I splattered on some white ink to make it snow. Next, I cut the Tim Holtz Merry Moose out of white cardstock (except the band around the moose neck that was cut out of red CS) and then sponged the pieces with different Distress inks. I also added some Stickles in Platinum and Star Dust. I used some white paper to cut out snow and stamped the Vilda Stamps sentiment before I adhered it with foam tape. A few finishing touches with Snow Writer on the ground, on the moose horns and its back.
Thanks for stopping by/reading!

I also added Star Dust and Platinum Stickles, Glossy Accents and a few clear bling stones. I felt something was missing, so I found some Christmassy berries to decorate with in my stash.

Warm Christmas Hugs

lördag 15 december 2018

Hi everyone!
We are closing in on the big day, so it´s time to hurry up with the Christmas card production. I was in the mood for a wintry snowman card...
...so I grabbed the Tim Holtz Snowman Scene die set, some Distress inks and got started. I mounted the snowman with foam tape to give him dimension. I used Black Magic Core´dinations cardstock for the background, crumplet it up and then sanded. I stamped with some old spruce stamps before I die cut the next piece. I added a snowpack of white glitter paper, some Diamond Stickles and Glossy Accents too. The Kristina Scrapbooking sentiment was white heat embossed. I also splattered white ink over to create snowfall.
As always thanks so much for stopping!
