Graduation Card

torsdag 31 maj 2018

Hi there!
It's a struggle to make graduation cards I've discovered, this is my second attempt with these. Today I brought out the Dress embossing folder from X-cut to create a pretty backdrop for the sentiment/image stamp from Rox Stamps.
I cut out some leaves using the Memory Box Fresh Foliage die and sponged them as well as the embossed panel with Distress inks. Next, I stamped the balloons from My Favourite Things Beary Special Birthday set, colored them up with my Copics, added Glossy Accents and then cut out by hand. For the congrats, I used a Rox Stamps die and black foam for dimension. I added the balloons and the sentiment/image with foam adhesive. I finished by adding a Craft Emotions bow die-cut.
Ok, I think that´s about it. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hugs, Birgit

Congratulations On Graduating

söndag 27 maj 2018

Hello there!
Today I have a graduation card to show you. I have not had a reason to do anything like this before, so this is my first. A challenging project I have to say.
For the background I used Mama Elephant - Freestyle Florals stamp set and I colored them up with my Copics. It turned out to be a wonderful background to the front panel, I think. And to the panel was one Lawn Fawn - Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Stackables die used. The stamped candlelights is from STAMPlorations - Party Mates stamp set and also colored with Copics. I stamped the sentiments from Gummiapan and K-designs underneath, and embossed one of them in gold. I finished my card by adding a few gold sequins a piece of ribbon.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs, Birgit

Christmas Party

fredag 25 maj 2018

Hello there crafters!
I usually try to create something for every Muse:ChristmasVisions challenge because it´s so fun, and now it has suddenly become the 100th challenge, how did it happen? And I've seen some amazing Christmas cards this time, so beautiful! But of course, I also have a card to show.
For my card, I decided to use the Winter Warmth stamp set from My Favorite Things and Marianne Design Collectables stamps for the sentiment, together with coordinating dies. I used various Distress inks both to the background and to the stamped flowers. The sentiment is gold heat embossed and I also added small gold dots in the center of the blooms. I finished my card with a small bow of gold twine.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit

Hi crafty friends!
Today I´m popping in with a cute card to share, maybe for a birthday. I started with a digi image that I colored up with my Copic pens and some Glossy Accents.
Then I cut the image out using one Lawn Fawn Large Cross-Stitched Cicle Stackables die and created a panel that I popped up with some foam tape.To the left I added a paper strip that was made using red and black Distress inks and Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi´s Dots & Stripes Borders stencil. For the Congrats I used a Gummiapan die and the K-designs sentiment was first stamped and then white heat embossed. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
Wishing everyone a happy day, and thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy The Little Things...Guest Designing

onsdag 16 maj 2018

Hello friends!
I´m so glad you stopped by! Today I have the honor of guest designing with the talanted design team at Crafting By Designs. This weeks challenge theme is Enjoy the little Things, I hope you´d like to join along. Here is the project I created...
I made a pretty simple card using a Eline´s Huis stamp set, along with Distress inks and a couple of dies, the Memory Box Fresh Foliage and Die-Namics Inside&Out Diagonal Stitched Square. I layered the panel with foam tape for dimension. On the tea / coffee cup I added gold embossing pouder that was heated in, by the way, it was cut out by hand. I created the sentiment myself using my computer and finished of by adding three small flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please be sure to visit the Crafting By Designs to see all the fantastic projects that the talanted DT has created!

When You Stop Believing In Santa You Get Socks For Christmas...

onsdag 9 maj 2018

Hello there crafters, thanks so much for stopping by!
Today´s post is for Muse:ChristmasVisions, where Kimberly is our muse, and for some other challenges too.
The image is from an old Inkadinkadoo stamp set, which is stamped and then gold heat embossed. The K-designs sentiment has also been heat embossed, but in copper. I used some foam tape to pop up the image and the sentiment. Next, I needed a background and found papers from Panduro in my way to big paper stash, that I used. Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitshed Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and Die-Namics Stitched Scallop basic Edges has also been used. I finished of with some twine.
That´s about it, I think.

I have a card to share for this weeks colour challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I used the Monster Morning stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs, colored it up with my Copic pens and cut it out by hand. For the background panel, I used the Budding Vine die from Tonic Studios and I adhered all the layers with foam tape to get some dimension. The sentiment was stamped with a Scrapfabriken stamp. I finished my card with a few pearls over the cup.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello there and welcome!
Today I have a slightly different card to show, I was in the mood for some watercolors and created this card, in my own style.
I used Tom Holtz Idea-ology Tissue Wrap and glued it to the cardbase before I went loose with my water colors, black acrylic paint and a white gel pen. I adhered a strip of washi tape and die-cut Memory Box Fresh Foliage out of cardstock and sponged the edges with green Distress ink. For the sentiment, I stamped a Vilda Stamps sentiment from the Grattistexter set in Coffee Archival Ink, cut it out with one Spellbinders Large Labels die and sponged it with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I foam mounted it and added a few black enamel dots to finish of my card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
