Today I´m sharing a project I created for my Dad using the sketch over at CAS Colours and Sketches. It is a couple of weeks left for Father's Day, I know, but it feels good to be ready for it.

I started with the background panel using a Provocraft embossing folder. Next, I die-cut the Joy Crafts balloons and colored them up with watercolors, then I added Glossy Accents for a really shiny look.The sentiment from K-designs was stamped, then white heat embossed and adhered with foam tape. I finished the card off with a Craft Emortions die-cut bow and a few pearls.

To Dad On Your Day

Hi there!

 I gave myself a challenge when I decided to make a Father's Day card in the colors Purple & Gold, and I got the color idea from the challenge over at Less is More. Here with me it´s the Father's Day on Sunday, and I hope he likes this.

I can tell you...this is not my colors. Anyway, I have used some dies to create this. The Penny Black Soft Caress die, the Memory Box Slender Leaves and Fresh Foliage dies, the MFT Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die. After stamping the sentiment from K-designs in Watermark it was gold heat embossed.

For A Girl Who Loves Horses

Hi friends!

Just popping in to share a book card I made yesterday.

I choose papers from My Mind´s Eye, and one vintage image from Antique Images.

I covered over the image and stamped with a pair of horse stamps from Inkadinkado.

Round the edges I added red Stickles and framed it with Spellbinders lattice Rectangles die.

I colored the lace a little with Copic markers. Twine was also colored in with Distress Ink and tied around the page. The sentiment from You Do was stamped and cut out, the edges was sponged with vintage photo Distress Ink. One fabric flower was made by swirling strips of fabric.

For the swirls I used a pair of Spellbinders Floral Fluorishes dies. Pearls and flowers finish of the front side. On the spine I placed a Latchette Border die cut from Memory Box and a brad.

I used seam binding which I colored in with Distress Ink in shades of brown to tie together the card.

Hello, thank you for visiting me today.

This card will make any dad happy, if he just likes cars.

I wanted a little more youthful touch to this card. Moore Rock 'n Roll and leather and less golf and slippers, if you know what I mean.

Men usually do not like so much "bling", so I tried not to decorate so much.

I think the striped paper from Maja Design gives an illusion of road and speed.
Take time off, and take a trip out into the blue.

The car is cut out from a sheet that comes from Inkido,(I Think)
The sentiment from Reprint was stamped on white paper, then cut out with Nestabilities Classic Ovals Large and sponged with Distress Ink. Broken China.

The "tree" is made ​​of metal and I've cut it off from an old candle holder.

This is leather band which I have only sat down with staples.

I stamped some notes with a stamp from You Do and cut out with Nested Lacey Pennants, you need music on the road.

A few rhinestones finished of my card and I made the inside matching.

Fars Dag kort.

Idag skulle jag vilja visa er mitt kort till min pappa, som han ska få på Söndag när det är Fars Dag.

Jag hittade ett underbart papper från Webster´s Pages som jag tyckte var så vackert i sig självt, att jag inte dekorerat det så mycket.

Jag har bara stämplat ett Grattis och dekorerat med lite spets, en rosett och en brad från You Do.

På insidan har jag gjort en ficka där man kan sticka in ett kuvert med en liten gåva.
