Season´s Greetings

Hi there!

Just a quick post to show you my version of "last minute Christmas card". I have also made some with the variation of red ribbons / red rhinestones.

The bird stamp which is an old favourite I use every year from Inkadinkado, was stamped in Wheathered Wood Distress ink and then clear heat embossed. And that's all that needs to be said about this card I guess.

As You Like It - Favourite Christmas Stamp&Why (It´s always OK to use this one, anytime:))

Christmas Gift Box

Hello friends!
I'm here with a new project today, I needed a box for a Christmas gift to my daughter's husband so I made this.

Here is how it looked before I started. Perfectly sized but of course it has a major fault as you can see ...

I wanted a white base so I covered it first with white gesso. Then I used stamps and dies from Tim Holtz alterations Holiday Joy set, some of the trees were embossed.

 Then I applied some Stambendous Shabby White to the sky and heated it up. The edges of the metal decoration was also heat embossed with Aged Silver embossing pouder from Stampendous.

Then, using the Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 Dots&Stripes Borders stencil, I sponged some stripes in black at the top and bottom of my box. Next I added a  line of red plaid washi tape and red ribbon.

Over the reindeer, I used another stencil from Wendy Vecchi 3 Fluorishes in order to create additional effect. The reindeer was first embossed in gold but I thought it needed a little more glitz and glam so it got a cover with gold glitter that also were heated in.

The golden reindeer also got a wreath with a cute little red bow and it looks so proud out over it.

Time For Favourites

Hi, again!

Over at the Craft Room Challenge this week, they want us to pick up one of our favorites from the past year and I have actually chosen this card because I like the technique of stamping on fabric. I do not understand why I don´t do it more often?

This is so sweet that I could not resist it, even though I made ​​a New Year's resolution at the end of last year to make more cards for men 2013 which I actually kept pretty good if I do say so myself.

Wood Tags

Hi everyone!
I´m popping in today to share some small wooden tags that I have made to a few Christmas gifts.

I used a couple of stencils from Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi and You Do to create some cool background effects, along with some brown Distress inks.

The small images can be found on a PION design Wintertime in Swedish Lapland paper.

Some odds and ends from my desk and little lace of course to get the real vintage look.

Best Wishes For A Happy Christmas

Hi everyone!
It's a busy time now, it's hard to catch up with everything that should be be done right now.
Just a quick post today to show this Christmas card.

I started with the lovely paper from Anna Griffin with Christmas ornaments on. Then I made the strips at the top and bottom by using Studio 490 Wendy Wecchi Dots & Stripes Borders stencil.

The tag was cut out from a Reprint Christmas Time Tags paper. I adhered it over a piece of jute fabric and lace.

I also added colored in seam binding, red berries, more lace, flowers and a berry cluster from Petaloo.

Happy Christmas!

Hi there and many thanks for visiting!

You´re not alone...I know there are many out there waiting in the night for Santa and his reindeer.

I think this stamp from Alota Rubber Stamps is so sweet.

I colored it up with Distress Markers, little Diamond Stickles, Glossy Accents and 3D Snow.

I used a couple of Spellbinders dies to cut the image out. Simple embellishments as alder cones and a piece of string finished of this Christmas card.

Hello again!
Thanks for visiting me today and a warm welcome to new followers.
Here´s a new Christmas card made in my "usual" style, a little vintage romantic.

I started with a piece of fabric that I had lying a few years. I also found some papers from Webster's Pages that matched well together. The chipboard snowflake was heat embossed with Stampendous Frantage Shabby Blue and Silver Mix.

Then I cut out a couple of beautiful angels from another sheet of paper and adhered them over a doily and the snowflake. I stamped over the fabric with a round Reprint Christmas stamp in Coffee Archival Ink.

I also used some old cut outs, a metal corner, a brad, ribbon, Stickles and natural twine. The Vilda Stamps sentiment was cut out with a Spellbinders die.

White Christmas

Hi everyone!

I can´t believe that it´s already December. Time flies...

For my card today I have just run a piece of paper through my machine with the Retro Swirls embossing folder from mpress.

I stamped the sentiment from Vilda Stamps at the bottom, and then I added black Stickles on the letters for more glitter.

I stamped the image from Stampendous and then I painted it with Distress Markers.

At the top of the skates I added white Paper Pen and sprinkled  loose glitter over before it had dried.

I cut out the ice skates and adhered them to my card with 3D foam.

A bow made ​​of a piece of twine finished of this easily made card.

Sparkling Christmas

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by today.

My, how time flies! It's already Thursday and the first Advent weekend coming.

I'm trying to work on with my Christmas cards and here comes yet another with much sparkle in a clean and simple style

First a cut the flap with Tim Holtz Alterations Plque&Postage die cut.

Then I used Studio 490 embossing paste over a Fluorishes stencil and sprinkled over Stampendous Frantage Silver Mix glitter. I really like how it turned out.

I had a metal star that I wanted to try som Stampendous Aged Silver embossing pouder on, and it went also good I think.

I stamped the You Do sentiment and gold embossed it. I finished the front with a couple of bells, pearl string and silver twine.

For the inside I used a K-designs stamp, some old silver glittery fabric and a piece of ribbon.

Hello friends!

For today I have colored up this incredibly cute bird stamp from Stampendous, my heart melts.

It´s a OLC. I just added Studio 490 embossing paste to create the snow, and then sprinkled glitter over when it was still wet. It gets such great snow.

I colored the image with my Copics and the blue sky was made by Distress inks.

I have used two more stamps, the sentiment fromVilda Stamps, and the branch stamp at the top from Stampers Anonymous Mini Holidays stamp set.

Christmas Greeting

Hi everyone!

I´m back today with a 3D Christmas card  that I have made of an old cut out paper I have had for ages.

I apologize for the slightly dark pictures, it was very little daylight when I took them even though it was midday.

It´s a long time since I did this kind of card and I understand why, you have to cut, and cut, and cut, and cut ...

As usual, it does not show how beautifull it sparkles and glistens.

Hi there!

That´s the sentiment on this OLC card, stamped with a Inkido stamp.

I used a couple of You Do stencils with ovals to make the hills, and the shadows in the water.

For that I used Distress inks, just like for the black stripes that frame the image.

The horse were made with a Inkadinkado stamp.

Simple right, and no embellishments at all.
