Think Positive, Kind Thoughts Makes You Beautiful

Hello everyone, happy Monday!

I'm back after a short break, with a card that I have made of some old left over paper pieces.

First I stamped the sentiment from Vilda Stamps and heat embossed it.

Then I placed it in a window where I had first adhered Tim Holtz tissue tape to the frame.

A butterfly was cut out from a Pion Design paper, then layered with Glossy Accents and dry Glitter.

The flowers to the left was cut out with the Prim Poppy die from Memory Box.

The leaves were made with a Joy Crafts die and a Martha Stewart punch.

I finished with some stuff from my stash, lace, rhinestones, natural twine, Diamond Stickles, a brad and red flowers.

I think that was it. Right now I think it's fun to use all the old material I find in my drawers.

In The Good Old Days...

...nothing worked either.

Hi there!

The kids are off from school this week for the winter holidays. I do not know how many countries who have a winter holiday, but here in the Nordic countries, it´s common I think.

For me, it's time for another male card, everything to fulfill my New Year's promise to myself.

For today's card, it has finally come to use the nice retro tractor images I cut out from a magazine over a year ago.

I made my own background paper by prime with Gesso, and then use some stencils, sprays and stamps.

In the past, they surely had big problems getting the tractor to go, these days it's usually the computer that does not work I think (At least with me:))

If you are a farmer today, you surely have "double trouble".

I made the sentiment om my computer, by the way.

Balloons For Everyone!

Hi, all blog friends!

I hope your week has started well so far, and that the week brings some time in the craft room.

I saw a nice sketch at Our Creative Corner and wanted to try it to a card for a child.

This is what I came up with, an easel card with the cutest dragon you can imagine.

I took out a few pieces of paper from Webster´s Pages Ladies&Gents which I wanted to use up, and combined them with some other things from my stash.

The image was first colored with Copics. Then the balloon got one layer Glossy Accents,  and then I sprinkled it over with dry glitter. I also used a little Star Dust and Diamond Stickles.

Sentiment stamps are from Inkido (the upper)"Wish you all that you desire", and Reprint.

For the flowers I used the Small Pinuheel Posie die from Memory Box.

"The thing" to the left in chipboard was first black and glossy. I painted it with white crackle paint, but it started to fall of so then I gave it a layer Glue´n Seal too.

Blow Your Horn & Celebrate

Hi, everyone!

I created this card for the challenge over at Cupcake Craft. This time they have a "Sketcharoony" to follow.

I mixed and matched some old pattern papers and Heartwarming Vintage Photos from Crafty Secrets.

I used round stamps from Crafty Individuals.

The doily was stamped and sponged with Dusty Concord Distress ink.

I added a piece of one Memory Box Fence die cut, together with other struff from my stash.

Not so much more to say about this I think.

More Love

Hello there!
A warm thank you to everyone who visited Hobbyhärvans blog and to those of you who have left comments and became followers. And thanks so much for stopping by today!
Here is another Valentine's Day project, this time I have decorated a box of chocolates.

I used an old favorite stamp from Magenta. After I stamped the image I used Rangers Sticky Embossing Pouder and adhered Glitter over it.

Then I painted the butterfly, and around the heart just a little bit in soft colors with Copics

The word Love is computer made, then cut and embossed with one Shapeabilities Fancy Tags die.

The tag ends were sponged with red Distress ink.

The papers are from Inkido´s Is This Love Collection. I also used one Die-namics die for the swirls, one metal charm and corners, as well as some other stuff from my stash.

I hope you can see a little of that glitter.

From My Heart

Hello!

Today I would like to show you a gift I have made for Valentine´s day.

I filled a bag with goodies for a sweetheart.

The heart in the middle is made of a PR pin in metal that my husband got from a salesman.

Now I've transformed it totally by using red and white Alcohol Inks on the bottom, and Glossy Accents over for a shiny look.

In the middle where there previously was a tractor name, is now a compuder made sentiment instead.

I layered it over a lace heart. The other supplies were found in my stash.

Winged Things

Morning blogfriends!

I have a new project to share. There´s a new challenge on Divas By Design blog called: Winged Things.

So I made this card using the sketch over at Timeless Tuesday.

At last I have been using the black furry fabric that I saved from an old vest that I once had. So fun!

I dressed a cut out heart with it, then layered it over Tristan and Cloe Butterfly die cuts from Memory Box.

Do you see the stitched pattern on the fabric?

I used papers from Prima Meadow Lark Collection and the sentiment stamp are from K-Designs. (Warning! A hug can jump out when you open ...)

I also used laces, flowers, a metal corner and Seam Binding dyed in with Distress ink.

70 Years! Then You Should Celebrate!

Hi friends! Wecome to my blog!

Here is a card for a man who will soon complete 70 years. I let the sentiment to be in the spotlight, and it says:

"It's not the years in your life that counts, but the life in your years."

I stamped the sentiment from Slöjd Detaljer on black CS and heat embossed it with white embossing pouder. Then I drew around the edge with a white pencil and wrote "Let Remain" in the corner.

I adhered it over a piece of corrugated cardboard and chipboard, that I first had sprayed with Dylusions and Distress Ink and then stamped with a stamp from Inkido with textured pattern.

I used FabScraps Organic Herbs Two patterned paper and a piece of old glitter border.

At the top of the card I adhered the Pine Needle Border that was cut with a Memory Box die.

The numbers got a lot of different colors before I was satisfied, then a layer of Crackle Accents.

Then the bird had a layer of Glossy Accents before I adhered them together with a piece of measuring tape that I first had circled number 70.

 A pair of black pearls finished it all.

Tag Card, New Folding For Me

Happy Friday!

This week has just rushed off and today, it is February 1st, how did it happen?

Well, for today I have made a card that I got the inspiration, and instructions to, from the magazine Ett Trykk. I thought I must try it.

This card goes in a color scheme that I almost never use, so it is extra fun when it finally happened.

I have been using Bildmålarnas Sweet Tones papers, and the middle image was cut out from a Sagen Vintage Design sheet, with Spellbinders dies.

The round stamp in the corner are from Rox Stamps. One Inkido stamp were used on the tag and the one behind the image are from Bildmålarna.

I adhered Star Dust Stickles to the edges. It's not much more to say about it I think.
