Sparkling Christmas Tree

Hi there!

A new week and it's already Tuesday today. And what a Tuesday then, it is unseasonably warm out here with me, so here the last days of October it is usually not 15 ° C degrees and sunshine. It's amazing good!:)

And what will I show you then ... a Christmas card of course:) I was inspired to use a bit of newsprint to this card, it is also newsprint as the lowest layer of the Christmas tree.

The newsprint may not appear so good because I covered it with distress inks, glossy accents and a layer of glitter ... it's Christmas and then it should sparkle. Sorry, I see now that there is a glue thread left on the photo.

A Christmas Greeting

Well hey there!

It is Friday already and I hope you look forward to the weekend, maybe is there little time for crafting:)

Today´s card uses a traditional Christmas color palette and the sweet Mimosa Flower Basket image from Bildmålarna.

I colored her with watercolors and then cut her out. I added some Stickles and Glossy Accents and placed her over a Nestabilities Beaded Ovals die cut.

The background designer papers was perfect for this card and is from Graphic 45. The flowers were made with the Small Blooming Poinsettia die from Memory Box.

I added a stamped Penny Black border round the sentiment from You Do before I cut it out. A resin swirl, a metal corner and some ribbons finish off the card.

Christmas Gift Bag

Hello friends!

I´m back to share another CAS card today. I fell in love with this IO Stamps bag when I first saw it, now I have colored it with my Copics in neutral colors, gold and silver.

I added Glossy Accents and Gold Stickles to the leaves, I do not know if you can see it. I really like the simplicity of this card, which by the way is a tall and skinny one, 3,5 x 5,5".

Star Miracle Card

Hi there!
So glad you could stop by today. I have a clean and simple card to share today that I made with the Memory Box Traditional Stars dies, metal tape and Stampendous Aged Silver embossing pouder.

That is what applies to the stars, of course. For the rest of the card I have used Mpress Retro Swirls embossingfolder together with Distress ink. The gold embossed sentiment is from You Do

It's raining outside my window and while I wait for it to end, I have made a little mini card. It is actually just part of a bigger stamp from Stampendous that I watercolor painted.

 I added a little 3D snow and glitter, I hope you see any of it.

Super Hero

Hello friends!
I'm back, and today I have no Christmas card to show, instead I have done something a little different...a real superhero to give hope and rescue.

I started by coloring up the stamp from Sugar Pea with my Copics and cut him out. Then I made the heart by painting a piece of paper with Gold Acrylic Colour. Then I added a stripe of piano washi tape and cut the heart out with one die from the Tim Holtz Alterations Mini Hearts set. I also added some black acrylic paint to the edges.

I used papers from the Fancy Pants Swagger paper pad and added some yellow dots to it with a Wendy Vecchi Dots&Stripes stencil and Distress ink. "Always" is also made with another Wendy Vecchi stencil called Classic Words. 

Then I cut out some leaves and added a few things from my stash to finish of the card. And that´s it!

I hope you like my superhero, myself I had a great time making him:)

Pinecone Branch 2

Hello everyone!

Today I show you my second attempt using the Memory Box pinecone die, and I like this better. 

This time, I used it as a stencil and the cones became great... at least I think so. 

At the end of the post I wrote down all materials I have used from my stash.

Hello there!
Here´s another Christmas card that I made last weekend, this one is made with a Fizzy Moon stamp and I colored it up with my Copics.

I used one of the sentiments from the "Mer Jul" set by You Do, then I added the image over gold metallic paper.

I finished off the card with 3D snow, Star Dust Stickles and a pearl.

Pinecone Branch 1

Hello and welcome back!

I just received the new Pinecone Frame die from Memory Box and I had to try it immediately. Probably you will get to see several variations of Christmas cards using this die over time until Christmas.

This is my first attempt and I'm not entirely happy with it. I experimented a lot to get the background to the cones really glittery and shimmering with different mediums, as usual, appears it's not unfortunately.

So Cute...

Good morning everyone!

Today´s card is made with Joanna Sheens House-Mouse Winter Pillow stamp set, and I think they are real sweethearts all three of them sitting on the branch:)

I colored them up with my Copics and added some 3-D snow on the branches, then I sprinkled glitter over before it had dried.

The shadow was made by stamping on vellum and then turn it around and place a piece of blue cardstock behind.

On the inside I stamped another image with a House Mouse who are in a hurry to get ready for Christmas, and a sentiment from K-designs.

My finishing touch...some Star Dust Stickles and a red pearl.
