Hello friends!

Now is the time for weddings, graduations and confirmations, it is a wonderful time for celebrations, right? This card is for the girl next door who have confirmation this weekend, I chose to do it in a mild shabby chic style.

I dug deep into my paper stash and found a patterned paper from Studio Calico Lemon Lush and an image. I also used a stamp from Vildastamps for the sentiment, which then was cut out with one of the Sheapabilities Fancy Tags dies.

The butterfly was cut out with a Sizzix die and then added together with flowers, lace and some other things from my stash. I stamped a well-known Swedish summer hymn on the inside.

A Child Is A Miracle...

Hey there crafters!

Today´s card is quite simple with the sentiment "A child is a miracle well worth the wait, the greatest and best a mother and father can get". And I used Tim Holtz Baby stamps together with Distress inks.

The striped edge to the left was made with Wendy Vecchis Dots & Stripes Borders stencil. And the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed on vellum.

A Greeting For Christmas

Hello happy Christmas crafters!

Or all of you crafters who are not doing Christmas cards this time of year, which might seem a little strange, I hope you are happy too. I have been inspired by Betty Wright's card for todays project, and I decided play around with the Pinecone Frame die from Memory Box.

I used it both as a stencil and the die cuts. But first I inked an embossed oval in red using the Snowfall stencil from Hot Off The Press. I cut out a couple of cones that I first dyed and then added a layer embossing paste, then I sprinkled over glitter and warmed up. I like the puffed effect it gets when embossing paste is heated.  I decided to add a K-design sentiment and heat emboss it too. The branche was made with
Tim´s Alterations Holiday Greens die.

Welcome Little Baby

Hello everyone!

Here comes the next baby's surfing into our lives, a wonderful little girl and my second grandchild. Here I have made a card for her and her parents.

I used an image from Nicecrane Designs that I colored with my Copics and then cut out with a Nestabilities Labels Four die. I used papers from Bildmålarna the Welcome - Baby Pink, they are so sweet. I then added the Memory Box Baby Script die cut and some other things from my stash.

I started with a paper bag which I thought to be a good project, and an image. I colored up the image with my Copics and added it together with old papers from my stash.

I will give away a gift to a man in this bag so I tried to find the appropriate papers. Here is the backside...

Gift Box

Hi everyone!
For today I have created a sweet little gift box that I want to show you. It´s not big but it can hold a bar of chocolate, gift cards or anything else that is fairly flat.

I used papers from Maja Design the Coffee in the Arbor Paper Stack, I think they have such a lovely summer feeling. I thought that it´s possible to write a greeting on the back if you want, so I left it undecorated.

Then I cut out leaves with Memory Box Slender Leaves die and adhered them on the box along with some other stuff from my stash.

Merry Christmas This Year Again ...

Today I have actually a Christmas cards to show you, a little early in the season maybe but I really wanted to be in the new Muse: Christmas Vision Challenge. Also, I have been struggling with the challenge, this is my second attempt with it, the first ended up in the trash.

I have used Distress inks, Tim Holtz Alterations Holiday Greens dies and a sentiment stamp from Inkido. Some gold glitter and bling finished of this card. Why is it so hard to get it right sometimes?

Whatever You Do...

Hi, and welcome to my blog!
I created this card by using a flower stamp from La Blanche that I stamped and colored twice with Copics, then I cut out the petals from the second and attached on the first image.

I used a sentiment stamp from Mama Elephant - Everyday Greetings set, and Spellbinders Garden Delight embossing folder to the background.

I finished of with a few sequins that seems to be popular right now, I've seen a lot of those now on different blogs:)

25 Hurray!

Hey there!
Today I tried to challenge myself to use opposite colors of the color wheel, but I do not know if I succeeded completely. At least in the photo it looks more blue than blue-green as it should do because I used Evergreen Bough Distress Ink, but where did the green hue disappear?

Anyway, I tried to combine it with an apricot/coral color. I used some dies to this project, Memory Box Prim Poppy die, Spellbinders Card Creator S5-218 die and Hurray die from Rox Stamps. I did the numbers on my computer and the white dots were made with white Pearl Maker.

As you might have guessed, this card will be given to a girl on her 25-year-old birthday.

The First Spring Butterfly

Hello friends!

Today I´d like to share a card made of soft bright spring colors, I hope you see how the light flows. I started with the Flowers stamp from Bildmålarna Alva Collection and colored it up with my Copics.

 Then I masked the image and covered it with the Luscious Leaves stencil from Dylusions and added the blue shades. Next, I die cut the Kensington Border from Memory Box and adhered it on the left side and stamped the Reprint sentiment. I finished with a single yellow glittery butterfly.

On Baptism Day

Welcome to my blog today!

I'm here again with another baptism card, and this one in vintage style is so sweet, I love it! I started by finding the image from Pion design and then continued with their Paris Flea Market papers that matches so well.

I created the text to both the pennants and the inside on my computer.

The leaves was cut with the Memory Box Slender Leaves die and added together with some flowers and other things from my stash.
