Hey there!

Here comes yet another card for Muse:ChristmasVisions...am I starting to be tiring? And this time, I might have taken me to much freedom when it comes to the sentiment and colors.

I have long wanted to try that technique where you first must heat emboss the sentiment and after the coloring, use Flat-iron and some soft paper to remove the embossed again. But in that way became the sentiment white instead of black, and I totally forgot about the red color, ha,ha... But here you have my sample, hope you like it anyway. I used a K-designs stamp and Distress inks.

I hope you are having a great weekend! Today I have no card to show, instead I have a box that I have recycled/upcycled. "This gift is selected with care and consideration".

I heat embossed the Vilda Stamps sentiment in gold on a tag, and then added it together with some other things from my stash. Paper from Prima Marketing "The Optimist" Collection.

Hello crafters!

Oh yes! This is yet another card for Muse:ChristmasVisions, this time I focused on the design and not so much on the colors.

I decided to use Authentique papers the Wonder collection from 2011, and combine them with the gold heart that I made with embossing pouder and some glitter. The sentiment is from Reprint. This was a quick post, and that was good because now I have to start baking ... nam nam:)

A Birthday Card

Hi everyone!

I'm back with another Flap Fold Card, I thought it was so fun and easy. This time I have used a patterned cardstock in beautiful pale green, even if it doesn´t show on the photo, unfortunately it looks just gray.

I found the floral paper among my leftover pieces and there was even enough to create the flower on top. The little monkey with the flower is from Mama Elephant the Up And Away set, and I colored it with my Copics.

The decorative edge was made with a Artemio punch. Okay, I think that´s all that need be said about this project.

It's already Friday and the first school week is over here with me, now comes a nice weekend...I hope:) Today's card, I started over a week ago for the rainbow challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters. I had seen on a blog somewhere a shimmering metallic technique and tried to do something similar. So I made my rainbow square and it was kind of OK, but then I did´nt know how to continue, so it remained lying many days on my desk before I came up how I would finish this project.

Well, here you have it!
To make the card I used the following supplies: Distress inks for the rainbow, Copic pens for the bird, Sizzix embossing folder, Memory Box Texture Raindrops stencil and white Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi embossing paste, Die cuts made with Tim Holtz Holiday Greens and Memory Box Fresh Foliage dies, Bird Crazy stamp from Tim Holtz (with plastic eyes), sentiment stamp from Bildmålarna and "hello" is from Mama Elephant Everyday Greetings stamp set.

Guest Designing At Inky Impressions

Hello friends and crafters!
Today I´m sharing with you a card I have made for my Guest Design spot together with the talented design team over at Inky Impressions! The theme this week is "Christmas in August" and since I´ve already started with the Christmas card production, it was perfect for me. This year I'll be ready in good time!

The All Wrapped Up Kitty image is colored with Copics, and Glossy Accents was added to all the red ribbon. Then I masked the image and stamped the checkered background with CREAlies stamp no.11. I also stamped the sentiment from Tim Holtz Mini Holiday stamp set and added a little Star Dust Stickles.

 At the bottom of the card I added two pieces of leftover matching papers that first was die cut with a Mama Elephant border die. Finally I added a few sequins. Make sure that y´all check out what the other ladies created HERE!

Hi there!

I´m quite honored and excited to share with you that I have the honor and privilege to join along with the inspiring CAS on Sunday challenge blog as a guest designer this week! Thank you ladies for the invitation! The current challenge is to create a project with Vellum.

I was inspired to create a card by die cutting thru the vellum and to have a colored background. In this case, it became green because I decided to use the Fresh Foliage die from Memory Box. Then I cut another one in white CS to place over. The flower was cut with another Memory Box die Prim Poppy that I sponged with distress inks. Then I attatched them with a few stitches on my sewing machine, finaly I added my black Tim Holtz die cut sentiment and a few red pearls.

Celebrate

Hi again, everyone!
I´m back today with a card for this weeks The Paper Players color challenge, and I also used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this project.  

I stamped the Party Mates from STAMPlorations and used Copics to color them up. Then I cut out some of the pieces and adhered them with foam tape over the lights. On which the edges needed a bit of sponging with Distress inks. The sentiment is made with Tim Holtz celebrate die. I´m also linking up to Addicted to Stamps and More - Make Your Mark

A Christmas Gift Card

Hello friends!

I didn´t have a lot of time, but I wanted to join in the challenge over at Muse:ChristmasVisions and make a project for this week too.

I started with the Festive Stencil from Tim Holtz Collection, added watermark ink and clear embossing pouder that I heated in. Then some different distress inks was swiped across the image, I also added a little water drops which then was dried up. I cut the image into pieces and assembled them again. And that´s about it...I think.

So for my project, I was really inspired by the sceene and colors in the photo. And you can win a wonderful prize valued up to $25 from this weeks sponsor Craft Classes Online. Here´s my design:

I have colored up the image with my Copics, and then stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant - Up And Away set. Next I splattered some ink over the entire image. Then I used a Mama Elephant border die to create the sea under the boat. I finished of with a paper strip, plastic eyes and a charm.
I can´t wait to see what everyone creates for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations challenge!

Summer Flowers

Hi there crafters!

I thought it was time to make a card with some exciting folds, it feels like it was a while since I did such thing. I found this Flap Fold Card over at Splitcoaststampers and here I show you my creation with this technique.

I used a Bloom Silhouettes Stencil from Stamplorations and Distress inks to create the flower image. The lovely sentiment "...take the time to do nothing" is from Rox stamps. I created the decorative edge with a Artemio punch.

I stamped and colored the flower on top from Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals and die-cut it with the matching die. Then I added it on another die cut made with a Shapeabilities Florals Doily Motifs die.

I colored up this chipboard flower that I found with my Copics and added Glossy accents on top, and I must say I really like it.

Silver Stars

Hi everyone!

It's already August ... and it feels like the summer flies away. And soon it's Christmas again, and then I'm well prepared because as you can see, I have started super early with my Christmas card production this year.

Here I have used the inspiration card over at Muse:ChristmasVision, and a lot of old almost forgotten material, such as the old metal stars that finally came to use. I put in pieces of black Core'dinations papers that I first dry embossed and then sanded a bit. The sentiment is made in gold paper with a Mandys die. Ok, I don´t think I need to say much more about this card, so...thanks for stopping by my blog today!
