Hello there crafters!

I was so happy when I saw the card that this week's muse Meredith MacRitchie had done for Muse:ChristmasVisions, there were several layers...and twine, which opens up for more decorations:)

As the Tim Holtz Festive stencil is one of my favourites I decided to use it to create my card this week. And I really wanted to add a piece of vellum also, so that I placed behind the sentiment panel. The sentiment which is from You Do and the die is from Mandys.

Birthday Card

Hello crafters!

I don´t know if the text on this stamp from Svenska Textstämplar is translated in the best way, but I hope you understand the meaning anyway.  "We have no guns, can not salute, but wants to heartily congratulate!"

For this card, I have used one of the embossing folders from Sizzix "Birds&Reindeer set on watercolored paper (Distress inks), to create the texture behind the birds. I stamped the birds from Crafty Secrets "Bird Notes" set on vellum and black heat embossed them. I also added some Memory Box "Fresh Foliage" die cuts and finished of with a few green Rhinestones.

A Home Without A Dog Is Just A House

Hi there crafters!

If you don´t recognize you here on the blog, it's because I've tried to change some of the design to give it a little newer and modern look. Yet, I am not totally happy but I will continue working on it.

I have playing around with the new (for me) Crazy Dogs stamp set from Tim Holtz, I must say I fell in love with them at once I saw them the firts time:) I think you can see how it´s created. The dog is colored up with my Copics, gold Stickles on the collar and Glossy Accents on its nose. The sentiment is from Gummiapan. I love the dimension in this card and the extra bling that the green and red Rhinestones gives. Hope you like it too.

Warm Winter Greetings

Hello there crafters!

I have another card for Muse:ChristmasVisions made with watercolors. And like Cornelia, I also wanted to have that foggy feel in my winter sceene.

I used a couple of old tree stamps from Reprint and Panduro together with the Tim Holtz Alterations "Holiday Joy" stamp/die set to create the card. I sprayed over some water to soften it and splattered over with white paint. The sentiment, white heat embossed is from K-designs. I finished of by adding some sequins and 3D snow on the reindeer's back.

What a wonderful summer we've had here with me! Tomorrow to school begins again and somehow it also feels like the start of autumn. Some beautiful poppy flowers, I take with me from the summer.

For this card, I inked my background using green Distress inks and an ink blending tool. I stamped the flowers from a Exchangeable Clear Stamper set, colored them up with watercolors and then gave them a layer Glossy Accents. I love how they turned out, so the sentiment cut with a Gummiapan die also got a layer when I was on the go. And that´s about the whole thing, I just finished of with a clear sequin as a last detail.

Hi everyone!

I thought that I´d for the first time try to make a card for the Muse challenge, and this weeks Muse is Jenni Murray. She has used a linen paper so I also wanted to do so, but I don´t think it became nice at all. 

My paper is probably what is called off-white, I think it just looks dirty. And it doesn´t get better with the orange ... I don´t like that color at all. What I like is the stamps from STAMPlorations Party Mates stamp set, that I masked and colored up with Copic pens, Glossy Accents and gold Stickles. And of course the sentiment stamp from Gummiapan.

Shine Bright

Hi there crafters!

I made this card for a couple of challenges, it´s Inkspirational where you will use patterned or designer paper with optional choice - stamp on patterned paper. I have tried to combine it with the challenge over at Cupcake Inspiration - Shine Bright, this is my interpretation and use of colors.

I used an old papperned paper from Panduro (I think it´s a Christmas collection), cut out an oval and after adhering it to a panel, I stamped on it with a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad Art Journaling 5. The sentiment in gold, stamped and heat embossed on vellum is also from Panduro, and the Shine word is from one of Heidi Swapps mini stamp set. Okay, I think you can see how the card is built up so...that´s all for me. Hello friends!

This week, Chriss Blagrave over at Muse:Christmas Visions have a card with a different design which I thought was fun, so I have made a similar.

After creating the cardbase with watercolors, I started with the wreath by stamping it in green with a Vibeke Spigseth stamp. Then I built upon it with die cuts made with Memory Box "Mini Holly Leaves" and Poppy Stamps "Berry Spig" dies. I cut the Berry Sprig into pieces and painted the berries in white and added glitter. The little flower is also made with a Poppy Stamps die, the "Small Blooming Poinsettia". The sentiment under the wreath is from My Favourite Things the "Santa´s Elves" stamp set and I finished of with the large Rox Stamps Merry Christmas die in black.

Happy Birthday

Hi there!

Today's card is made to a child, yet I kept it rather simple. I combined the Beary Special Birthday stamp set from My Favourite Things with Craftemotions No.11 background stamp.

I colored the bear and cake with my Copics and cut them out by hand. The balloons and cake got a layer of  Glossy Accents and the cake frosting was done by sprinkling over dry glitter, I used Rangers clear rock candy. I adhered them with foam pads for a dimensional look. The lower brown part is created with Memory Box Straight Stitches die and Distress inks, the sentiment that was stamped on it is from Rox Stamps.

Hello there crafters!

Hope you have a great weekend so far. This is the card I made for this weeks challenge over at Muse:ChristmasVisions. 

For this card, I didn´t let the water colors dry, I let all the color blend together instead. Then I used some Memory Box "Forest Hills Landscape" and Poppy Stamps"Forest Deer", "Evergreen Landsscape" dies to create the rest of the card. If you look closely you will see that the back Forest Hills landscape is cut out of black Coredinations cardstock that I first crumpled up and then sanded, I like how it turded out. The reindeer had a white bottom `shadow´, because I placed a white die cut behind the black. The sentiment is from Scrapfabriken. I finished with adding some glitter Stickles on the reindeer horns and sunset / rise.

Children Card

Hi crafty friends!

It's already August and this summer seriously flying by, and I still enjoing the wonderful warm weather we've had this summer. We have hardly seen any rain at all so it would really be needed for the vegetation. In the meantime I must content myself with these raindrops...

This is a children's card to a birthday with the cute mouse which is a digi image that I colored up with my Copics. I also added some Glossy Accents to the raindrops and a little Star Dust Stickles. The sentiment stamp is from K-designs and I finished of with a rhinestone on the umbrella.
