Hello friends! Having fun with this new tree stencil from Clear Scraps which I have just received. I just had to try it, and I combined it with another "old" heart stencil from You Do to create this OLC card.
It amused me to make the card in the size 3,5 X5, 5 because that is what is asked for over at Crazy 4 Challenges this week.
For the sentiment I used one of the stamps from Whimsy Stamps Film Strip Sentiments collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day...

Well friends...today I would like to show you one more "simple" card, and see there, it looks a lot more than what it actually is. I just cut out a Shapeabilities D-LitesWindow Three die and used it as a stencil. Then I sponged around it with a couple of blue Distress inks and stamped the branch and the bird with Prima stamps. I finished of with rhinestones, a piece of twine and the stamped letters.
All right...thanks for visiting me today. Hope you have a great weekend!
Hugs, Birgit

Hi everyone! I´m back today with a new vintage romantic card, that I made with Everyday Vintage Paintables from Prima Marketing and Shapeabilities D-lites Window Three. I have been bargain-hunting both products on sale now after Christmas, so this is a fun new stuff to me.

It was really fun to color these Paintables and I used my Distress Markers to do it.

I cut out the window with the D-lites die in kraft CS and placed a vintage image inside.

I used a metal buckle that I first painted with black acrylic paint and then wiped away a part before it had time to dry. Then I attached it to my card together with some lace, flowers, pistils, nature twine and a little tag stamped with a StampingScrapping stamp. All the edges are distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink. Here below you can peek on the inside if you want.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

My Valentine Wish

tisdag 7 januari 2014

Hi friends!
I´m fighting against the dark, it is not easy to take any decent pictures at all right now... sigh. Anyway, I have made this card in a simple style with one of the beautiful motifs from the Graphic45 Be My Valentine paper.
I just cut out a rectangle and placed the image in it. Around the edge, I added X-mas red Stickles and sprinkled over Stampendous Fran-tage red crushed glass glitter and let it dry.

The sentiment are from K-designs, and that was all.
Hope you have a wonderful day today as many return to work and resume normal activities.
Hugs, Birgit

You´re The Best

Hello friends, followers and visitors!
Now that the holidays soon are over I've finally got back on the track. Our house has been more or less full all the time and there has not been much crafting time over, so now I have a strong need to throw me over my crafting stuff.
The first project for the year will be a card for a man. When I was looking through last year's projects, I found some nice ones for men which I had made at the beginning of last year, so it inspired me to do this.

I started with a piece of paper that I saved for months waiting to be used, where I used the stencil Mini Deco Doily from The Crafters Workshop together with Graphite Inka Gold. I cut it out and placed it behind the image from PION design.
The little bird was first covered with white Gesso, then I added  clear rock candy Distress crackle paint and little Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing pouder.

The small Memory Box Blooming Poinsettia flowers were left after the Christmas crafting, I used Distress Stain Brushed Pewter on them and they had a beautiful silver-gray color. A flourish canvas was colored in with a few sprays and was added together with a couple of old stamps and a few other things from my stash.

This is a card in completely different colors against what I normally use. Paper by Glitz Design "Sunshine In My Soul" paper pack and sentiments from Red Rubber Stamps, cut out with Whimsy Stamps Film Strip die.
We have a very mild winter so far here where I live, I still wish it could snow a little...
Thanks so much for visiting me today!
Hugs, Birgit
