From Me To You

måndag 30 juli 2012

Hello, friends!
As usual when I try myself on some new technique, the result is not so very good.
This time became my attempt with Dylusions almost completely unusable. But the leaves were, after all, perfectly OK, and greedy as I am, I wanted to still use them for something.
So today I give you a simple card with wonderful colors, and I have used the sketch at Less is More.
I think the sentiment might have been placed a little higher up to get some better balance in the card. But now it's too late to change that:)
The dots are made with white Pearl Maker, and the most lovely lace from The Funkie Junkie Boutique was added. Not much more to say about it.
Have a great week ahead!

You may be right about the placement of the sentiment but your card is lovely. The inks need practice, practice, practice!!!

I love it Birgit! I think the brightness of the Dylysions sprays are amazing against all that white. But I also have to think that those inks take some practice. So far I have only ventured out to using the Vibrant Turquoise. That intensity of color scares me sometimes - LOL. I really like your approach using just a panel that you created with the ink sprays. The Venise lace looks fab too! Thanks so much for joining in with Sunday Share over at The Funkie Junkie! I always love seeing what artists are going with the products they purchase! Best of luck in the drawing!

Hugs,
Linda
