A Thousand Thanks

Hi there!

I had so much fun making those leaves that I showed on the card in my last post, that I made a couple that were a little bigger at the same time. I used Tattered Leaves from Tim Holtz Alterations to cut them out.

These I have now placed here together with some twine and tissue paper.

The sentiment was made with a stamp from Inkido in Fired Brick Distress Ink.

Hello, and welcome back!

Here is a card with autumn theme, I'm a bit late I know. Here where I live, all the leaves has come down now, and the trees are bare.

The leaves are made with a Nellie Snellen punch, which actually consists of two parts. One that punches out the leaf and one pressing it, so it gets its form. But first I sponged a piece of CS with some different Distress inks and then sprayed it with some water. 

After punching them out, I gave them three layers with clear Utee.

I think they became very nice and shiny, I hope you like them too.

For the sentiment I used a stamp from Rox Stamps, and the dots was made with a Red Rubber Design stamp.

The Snow Is Falling Down

Hello, and welcome to my blog!
I have a Christmas card to share today. I wanted to try the Studio 490 embossing paste for the snow and the snowflakes on this card with Tilda.

This stamp is a few years old, but I thought it could be a good one for my project. First I colored her up with my Copics, then I added the paste and sprinkled over glitter while it was still wet.

The black/grey snowflaces was made with a stencil from You Do, Distress ink and Stickles.

The goldy sentiment was also made with a You Do stencil and the paste. This time I sprinkled over gold embossing pouder and heated in. What a great texture it became!

The big white snowflakes behind the image was made with a stencil, paste and glitter too. The sentiment on the little tag are also from You Do. I finished of with the red Berry Cluster from Petaloo that I really like, some seam binding and pearls.
