Hi there cardmaker friends!

Here with me, we have real winter right now, it is very cold, and it´s both blowing and snowing. Brrr... here´s a quite clean and simple card for Muse:Christmas Visions, I´ve just gone a little more bold in the background colors than Lindsey.

I die cut the Cottage from Wild Rose Studio and stamped the Kristinas Scrapbooking sentiment in black. Then I added stitches below using one Memory Box Straight Stitches die. For the background I used old Crafty Individuals paper. One single enamel dot and Platinum Stickles in the windows finished of my card.

With Friends Like You...

Happy Sunday Everyone!

For today´s card I have picked up my Copic pens and colored up this adorable image from House-Mouse Designs stamps, a set called "Friends Like You".

After coloring, I added grass using the "Grassy Border" die from Lawn Fawn and sponged it with green Distress inks. And in addition, I painted small dots like flowers with gel pens. The leaves at the sides were made with the Memory Box "Fresh Foliage" die. I finished of by adding a few small flowers.
That´s it for me, have a wonderful rest of the day!

Card With A Flap To Open

Hello friends!

Just a quick post today with a CAS card made using the fabulous "Diamond Plate & Revited Metal" embossing folders from Tim Holtz. I did it with a flap opening where a greeting can be written.

I sponged the lover embossed part with black distress ink. The door clapper from a Crafty Individuals stamp set were heat embossed in Stampendous Aged Silver mixed with some copper. I then cut it out by hand and adhered it as well as the sentiment with foam tape for dimension.

Fluttering By To Say Hi

Hello friends and crafters!

I´m dropping in to share a card I created after getting inspired by Fairy Tale´s challenge - Use mini-stamps, and the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.

In my stash I have Tim Holtz "Tiny Things" stamp set but I never seem to find the right opportunity to use them, and I have a little bad conscience about it. Now I took hoold of it and here's my card now, I hope you like it. I also used the "Fly By Friends" stamp set from My Favourite Things for the sentiment and the little butterfly. A coat of Glassy Accents and Stickles are added for glitter and shine. Old papers from my stash was used and I finished of by adding a few pearls and sequins.

Hello and welcome!

Today I have a card for CAS Colours&Sketches where I have used their sketch.

For my card, I used the "Free Style Florals" stamp set from Mama Elephant together with the coordinating dies and Distress inks. But first I started with the cardbase where I used My Favourite Things "On the Diagonal" stencil and sponged on blue Distress inks. The Rox Stamps sentiment was die cut out of black foam for dimension and I finished of by adding a few pearls/sequins.

To A Special Person On A Special Day

Hi there!

Today's card is quite simple, I want the beautiful Whimsy Stamps image and its colors to be in focus. The stamp is called "Well Rounded Elephant" and I used my Copic pens and some glitter Stickles to coloring.

I created a frame and stamped the sentiment from Svenska Textstämplar on it. I die cut the flower and the bow using Memory Box "Prim Poppy" and Craft Emotions dies, I colored them gently in pastel colors and finished of by adding a few pearls.

Hello there crafters!

I've spent some time in my craft room today creating a card for Muse:ChristmasVisions. I had a picture in my head how my card would look like but that´s not what came out in the end, I stuck to the layout and the trees anyway.

I started with some watercolor paper. I created a background using Distress inks and cut out all the other elements using some stamps and dies: Tim Holtz "Holiday Joy" set and "Snowman Scene", Poppy Stamps "Forest Hills Landscape" and "Forest Deer", Memory Box "Evergreen Landscape". I colored and shaded them with watercolor and splattered over white ink. After assembling all the pieces with foam tape for dimension I added some 3D snow, twine and a metal word band fastened with brads.

For You, My Heart

Hi everyone!

Today´s card is round and I can hardly remember when I did such one. I got my inspiration from Make My Monday, they have a challenge called "Going Around In Circles" so I thought it was fun trying to stick to it.

 In addition, I picked up an old Magnolia stamp which have not been used for a long time and colored it up with my Copics. I cut the image out by hand and created a background using a Nellie Snellen "Hearts" stencil, Distress inks and Spellbinders Nestabilities "Heart Circles" die set. I also die-cut the bow using a Craft Emotions die, and for the sentiment a Lawn Fawn "Scripty For You" die. Old Prima Meadow Lark papers was used. Assembling the card I popped the image and the heart circle with foam tape for a bit of dimension. I added a small silver bird charm, a red heart, lace and finally finished of with some glitter Stickles and Glossy Accents.

Popping in with a card to share. I thought playing along with the Resist It challenge over at Simon Monday and now I see that time is running out so I have to hurry up.

For the resist, I thought clear heat embossing. In order to accomplish that, I grabbed the first embossing folder I got in my hand among my embossing folders, and that was Crafters Companion´s Basket Weave. I don´t understand why I bought it because it's so hard to use I think. Anyway, after clear heat embossing the pattern I colored the rest up with brown ink and used it as a background on my card. I have also used Katzelkraft "Les rats des villes" stamp set, I colored the rat with my Copics, Memory Box "Fresh Foliage" die and Lawn Fawn "Grassy Border" die together with Distress inks. I adhered an old Graphic 45 paper piece with brads and added...flowers, when did I use that last? I finished my card with some of Tim Holtz chitchat words.

Christmas Greetings

Hello there crafters!

Today I have a card for Muse:ChristmasVisions where Chriss Blagrave is our Muse with this card:

I have tried to stick to the layout and used the material I had in my stash. This is how it turned out:

I started by stamping the Vilda Stamps sentiment in black and then clear heat embossed it. Next, I stamped the Wreath using Le Crea´Combi Stamps with Distress inks. I stamped the bows on another paper, colored them up, cut out and then added Glossy Accents. Then I stamped the bird from Crafty Secrets "Bird Notes" set and here I used my Copic pens instead to color with. After I cut the bird out too, I adhered the Bows and the bird with foam tape to create dimenson. For a finishing touch, I added pearls and a few sequins.
