St. Nicholas

Hello all, and happy Thursday!
Today I like to show you an altered matchbox I made with a Inkadinkado stamp.
In recent days, we have received out first snow this winter here with me. So now I´m in the right Christmas mood:)

I sponged the image with red and green Distress Inks, then stitched it on to a doly and pieces of left over Christmas papers.
3D snow was adhered on the side edges. I added lace and rhinestones at the top and the bottom.

Snowflaces was punched out and layered with Star Dust Stickles. I colored in Seam Binding with inks and tied it to a bow, then decorated with a button and twine.
The sentiment was made with a Inkido stamp and cut into two pieces.

I´d like to enter this matchbox into the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Our Creative Corner - Santa Claus is Coming
Sketchy Colors - White, Red,Green

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Birgit

what a great christmas paper craft! I love how you added the 'snow' along the edges. Using the red and green inks to 'color' the santa image is really clever. LOVE IT! You did a great job with our challenge and thank you for playing along with us @ OCC
